In this
section we present a complex event – performance of the 80’s. Even apart from
the alternative fashion parades and escapades of the street “artists of life”,
this process had many components: from
art gestures and figures to the performative actions, theatrical shows and
photo performance. In the conglomerate of events of the 80’s everything was pictured;
from ideas and situations to the depiction of music, public and metaphysical
activity. The main medium of documentary in the first half of the 80’s was
photography, but with beginning of Perestroika the first videos started to
appear, recording these kinds of events.
