Street Style -80 The three day Tattoo convention exhibition in Moscow at the Exhibition Center. As part of the tattoo festival an archive was shown as a new Photo history with additional new shots of subcultural styles, which were presented not as a collective portrait of street subcultures of the 80s’, but in the form of directions of styles from the Soviet beatniks to moto-bikers of the 90s’. Exposition of 200 frames was presented in the form of giant stands decorated as a Soviet "honor board" and was equipped with a no less massive than in the “Manege” 2009 new slide show. It is also the first time in the archives of the project that was demonstrated a 1’000 photo history dedicated to the establishment of the Russian Tatoo as a form of art, its way from the Soviet criminal, to prize works on the conventions of the 00s’.

Element # 15-28 The author of “Khuligany 80-kh” (“Hooligans of the ’80s”) will be presenting his new exhibit “Street Style-80” atthe Moskva Pavilion at VDNKh from April 30 to May 2 Event: Tätowierung als Kunst des Sowjet-Untergrunds Moskau. Formales Jubiläum für eine informelle Kunst: Die Tätowierung in Russland wird 25 Jahre alt. Eine Fotoausstellung im Ausstellungszentrum WWZ (WDNCh) zeigt Mode und Lebensstil der einstigen „Freaks“. |
